Stage 3. The Boat-The Street
STAGE 3 O VALDEORRAS BOAT-A RÚA DE VALDEORRAS It is the shortest and easiest stage of the Camino. Whether we come from the Xagoaza hostel or if we have stayed in any hostel or pension in the town, we leave for Tremiñá, pass under the road, then leave a cemetery on our right and continue along a path that becomes a narrow path and later normal way. We arrived at Arcos after crossing the Farelos river. After this town we leave the road and take a track to the left, going down. We cross the N-120 through an underpass and go along a service road. We also save, a little further on, the railway line by an overpass, we cross the Leira river and we are already in the Vilamartin de Valdeorras sports area; here is the hostel, the pools, the sports center, etc. On our left the Sil river, on the right the railway and on the right the N-120. We continue until the entrance to A Rúa. Here the route to the municipal hostel, pending its inauguration, is perfectly signposted. At the moment the alternative is to sleep in the Sports Center (calling the town hall) or in a hostel or pension. A Casa da Solaina is an information point for the pilgrim.

ALBERGUES VILAMARTIN: In the recreational area, next to the pool, it is signposted 500 m before arriving. It is a completely new and very modern hostel. It has 44 places in bunk beds, in two bedrooms and bathrooms for the disabled. Fridge, washing machine, wifi, microwave, stove, hot water. To stay you have to call 679 846 879.

A RÚA:  Municipal shelter managed by volunteer hospitaleros. It is a donation shelter, with community dinners and breakfasts. Reservations or transportation of backpacks are not allowed. It has 14 places in letters. Daily opening takes place from 4:00 p.m
