ACTIVITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION IN THE YEAR 2020 - GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2020. See News and Announcements THE ASSOCIATION HAS MADE THE WAY IN NOVEMBER 2019: As every year our Association made a pilgrimage along the Winter Way. It started at 8.00 on November 6 from the parish hostel Nicolás de Flüe de Ponferrada ON FOOT, to reach the tomb of the Apostle on the 15th. Dear friends: Next June 23rd we will take a tour of the Silence Valley. Better known as the "TEBAIDA del Bierzo". We will visit the cave of San Genadio, the Valley of Silence and the town of Peñalba de Santiago with its Mozarabic Church. The Departure will be from the Town Hall Square of A Rúa at 8am. And we will have another stop in O BARCO DE VALDEORRAS. Places are limited. The price is 20 euros. We take food each and we will take good care of it in the place of Peñalba. The walking route is about 8 kms. between round trips. It is advisable to wear a coat. And shoes that do not enter water, we go through wet places.
